How does ESTE help me as an artist?
While researchers agree that exploring new pedagogical approaches to teaching STEM and entrepreneurism are valuable, most do not agree on the definitions of STEM and entrepreneurism preventing an otherwise inherently unified teaching model.
Making the word STEM actionable and more engaging is not only a way to improve its usage but also change how we view entrepreneurs.

Changing Old School Views
ESTE™ is based on the idea that there are four innate preferences in every individual. Those who believe they can get anything done for the others who want it done, those believe they can learn anything for those just like them, those who who get it done for those learners and finally those with an entrepreneurial mindset—the entrepreneurs themselves. These are those who can learn anything for those who get it done. The ESTE™ framework defines these four groups and their differences so there’s no confusion about what it takes for your personality type or preferred skill set when pursuing your own business venture.
Many people differentiated between science and technology by their focus in the past. However, as we continue to merge these terms, it becomes more difficult for us to maintain a clear distinction between them. This framework can help you alternately think about STEM—not just focusing on what they are but also how they differ from one another, which will lead your company or organization towards success if discerning about each type having its own unique strengths tailored specifically towards improving society's needs through differentiation.
Facing The Paradox As an Artist
For both artists and entrepreneurs, each one faces the paradox of giving into a personal vision while requiring the appeal to the public and market. The ESTE™ framework helps entrepreneurs and artists find a way to work together by bridging the gap between business, technology, engineering with art. This can be done through our unique approach of packaging innovation into an appealing public presentation where we add words like "ART" in STEM so there is no confusion about what STEAM truly means when it comes down from its roots resulting in greater cohesion than before while also reducing some of that clutter which only leads us more astray instead toward clarity on how best move forward as one humanity wholeheartedly embracing every aspect needed for life’s sustaining journey ahead.
We live in a time where the entrepreneurship, science, technology, and engineering communities must come together with business leaders if they want to succeed. This means that STEM education needs more than just learning about these topics outside of school—it also includes hands-on creative and applied exercises which will give students an edge for success when entering into jobs or starting their own careers after graduation.
Art and Entrepreneurship Fit Together
Art and entrepreneurship go hand in glove. The value placed on art to express creativity is critical to childhood development improving social-emotional learning. It’s also the point of departure for hands-on, visual experiences that inspire innovativeness—just ask any entrepreneur.
A recent study found artists have different traits than business professionals and they produce great results when working together. This study shows that while entrepreneurs are more likely than artists to put themselves first, they also tend towards equality and cooperation.
In contrast with the self-focused mindset found in pro-social individuals who choose options that minimize the difference between their own outcomes and those others', these findings echo what we know about entrepreneurs' personality type—outgoing leaders focused on making things happen for everyone, not just themselves. Artists and entrepreneurs are often high-risk tolerant, open to new experiences with an uncommon passion that drives them forward in their work.
Bring the Framework to Partnership
An entrepreneur and artist partnership is a powerful force for good. Entrepreneurs value creativity, uniqueness in business models, fluidity of ideas—all things that are important to artists as well. The ESTE™ framework helps both sides come together by showing how they can tolerate high-risk challenges while sharing their life purpose, which benefits everyone involved.
The ESTE™ framework helps you as an artist because it advocates for creating a society in which both artists and entrepreneurs can thrive. It does so by encouraging people with high levels of self-efficacy, who are willing to take risks on their own behalf, as opposed to being led solely by outside influences, while at the same time respecting those differences that make each group unique.
